Perry's eye for creative photography started as a child, Perry was drawing and painting at age 5. He attended over 5 years of private art school at Nellie Solberg's 6th street studio at age 8 . He had his first one man art show at Nellie's 6th street studio in 1972 at age 15. Has been in numerous yearly art shows in the Bismarck Mandan area, sold many Frank Frazetta copies as a teenager, and received ribbon's and gallery selections from the Bismarck Art Association. He always photographed things he wanted to draw & paint later. Perry got his first SLR 35 mm film camera in 1973. Since then he has digital cameras costing thousands of dollars. Photography in the 1960's was more his hobby, in the 1970's for art, by the late 90's he was enjoying the creative challenge that digital photography has to offer. Shooting and editing RAW photos before processing them to a JPEG format. He does Studio blue screen photography, with the ability to enhance images using Adobe Photoshop unmatched by Mall Studios. Perry has a portrait studio in a second house behind his residents where he does photography (by Appointment only)
